Job description:

Lovely family would like an experienced, active, and fun nanny to help care for their 3 ( soon to be 4) children within their family home. They currently have two Boys aged 8 & 4 and one Girl aged 6. The Mother will be at home with the new baby for at least the next year then will be returning to university to study a degree course, at this point the hours may increase however if the nanny is unable to commit to this it is not a problem.

The Father may on occasion work from home and the Mother will be around, so it is particularly important the nanny is relaxed and comfortable with this.  They would like someone who has a real passion for caring for children and can meet each of their child’s individual needs. They are active children who love exploring the countryside so it is important the nanny enjoys running around and creating fun activities outside.

Standard nursery duties required ( family employ a cleaner) but would appreciate someone who does have a muck in attitude when needed. During term time the nanny would be required to support the Mother will school drop offs/pick up and then help with meal preparation, after school commitments and homework.

The days and hours required are described above and the nanny will be required one full day a week ( flexible on what day – not Fridays). During this time, the parents would like the nanny to spend some time with their new baby taking them to baby appropriate classes and groups.

During School holidays the nanny will be required to care for all children when needed and organise fun and engaging activities to keep them entertained. The parents like to travel abroad over the Summer and would like the nanny to travel with them, but this is normally for only 1-2 weeks.

To apply for the position please ensure you have a minimum of two years nanny experience and the following documents in place.

  • DBS Enhanced clear check on the update service
  • Valid 12 hour Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Valid driving license
  • Valid passport
  • Excellent checkable references from recent employment (minimum of 2)
