Childcare duties during term time will involve before/after school pickups and drop offs, helping with homework, preparing school bags with all the necessary kit, supporting the boy’s extra curriculum activities, and helping the parents with managing the boys school commitments.
Childcare duties during school holidays involve continuing to support with any homework required, organising fun activities both in and out of the home such as construction play, baking, sports based games, playdates with friends, researching suitable holiday camps the boys would enjoy. The family live in the beautiful countryside, so it is important the candidate is happy to put on a pair of wellies and go explore and have fun with the boys.
Housekeeping duties involve full cleaning of the house, family laundry, food shopping, supporting the parents with any errands or family admin. The occasional dog walk would be appreciated however it is not often required.
Days and hours required are described above, there is an element of flexibility with the days and hours if someone preferred a shorter week but the minimum, they require are 3 days a week ( Tuesdays/Wednesdays and Thursdays) starting at 7am and finishing at 7pm.
