Job Title: Permanent Ad Hoc Nanny

This role would suit someone self employed but would employ the candidate if required.

Days: 4 days during school holidays ideally Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Children attend private education/ nursery therefore they have a substantial amount of school holidays. – please see timetable below
Hours: 7:30/8a.m. – 6:30/7p.m.
Salary: Competitive salary offered for the right candidate
- Must have own vehicle ( mileage will be paid)
- Must have a key interest and understanding of child development
- Comfortable with dogs ( Labrador)
Job description: Super lovely family of 4 require a fun and engaging Ad Hoc holiday nanny to care for their two children Girl 4 years and Boy 6 years.They would like someone who can help on a permanent basis over the majority of the school holidays.

October half term – 23rd October – Monday 9th November
Christmas Holidays – 18th December – 12th January ( due to Christmas date required will be minimum)
February Half term – 12th February – 22nd February
Easter holidays – 26th March – Tuesday 20th April
May Half term – 28th May – 7th June
Summer holidays – 2nd July – Beg of September ( Date TBC)
The family will aim go away for part of the holidays ( depending on covid restrictions) above but they would need help for majority of it. They can be flexible potentially on days the candidate can offer during the holiday schedule it is just essential they communicate clearly so the parents can adapt their work schedules around the help they get.
They would like someone 4 days a week during the holidays but could offer more for right person. There would be options for extra hours such as babysitting, overnight or weekend work for the right person.
The hours required are 8a.m. until 6p.m, both parents are in the medical field so if possible someone who can be flexible would be fantastic, there may be the occasional earlier start and later finish.
Their ideal candidate would be someone who has a real interest and understanding of child development. The parents want someone who really engages with their children and ensures they are stimulated with fun activities.
Both of their children love structured fun and enjoy going off and exploring the outdoors. The boy loves learning about interesting facts on animals especially birds and also enjoys running around outside playing football where as the girl is very into her imaginative role play. It’s very important that the candidate has extensive experience working as a Nanny within the family home and really understands family dynamics, the family have a great support network with grandparents close by so it’s essential that the Nanny is very easy going and enjoys being part of a team.
Duties required: standard nursery duties, food shopping, cooking for children,help with children’s laundry would be fantastic, helping with general errands if parents have busy schedule. ( the family have cleaners during the week)
