 Job Description:

First time parents require a calm and caring maternity nurse to join them for approximately 8 weeks. Understandably they are both excited and anxious with the added covid concerns so it is important the maternity nurse is being covid safe.  They would like the maternity nurse to work with them as new parents and advise them when needed but respect their wishes to be ‘hands on’.  The Mother plans to breast feed and they are open to discuss suitable baby routines and will be guided by the maternity nurse. The father runs his own company so although he will be giving himself a few days to welcome baby he unfortunately will not be able to take full paternity leave hence their need for some support. They have family ( grandparents) within a few hours from them but due to covid they will be kept at distance until safe to visit. The family currently have a cleaner twice a week but when baby arrives they may reduce this to 1 day a week or stop initially for a few weeks to eliminate the risk of too many people entering the household. With this in mind they would appreciate  if the maternity nurse could have a ‘muck in’ attuide due to the mothers C-section. The father will ensure he helps as much as possible but if the maternity nurse can help with light cooking, washing they would really appreciate this. Accommodation provided is described above but there are options to sleep in the spare bedroom right next to the Mother if preferred.
