Job Title: Permanent Nanny
Location: Near Marlborough, Wiltshire
Start date: Ideally the 1st week of November ( flexible for the right candidate)
Children: Girls aged 8 & 4 years
Days/hours
Term time: Monday to Friday 3pm – 6:30pm
School holidays: up to 47.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (9am – 6/6:30pm) – Can be flexible
Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience. Based on the hours fluctuating the nanny will be paid pro rata
Duties
Term time: Assist with school pickups, help with extracurricular activities. Prepare supper and help the children with their evening routine. Keep all child related areas including their laundry clean and tidy.
School holidays: Organise fun and stimulating activities for the girls alongside general nanny duties.
Girls interests: The eldest is very sporty, enjoys karate and hockey. She has an interest in music and dance and currently plays the guitar. The youngest enjoys being creative with arts and crafts. She enjoys building Lego sets and constructing Hama beads and puzzles. Both girls also love baking and are keen to assist in the kitchen when encouraged.
Additional information
– Family have a friendly Labrador (no care required)
– Car can be provided for work related purposes, but the nanny must have a car to commute due to rural location
– Occasional babysitting would be appreciated
– Option to travel during the holidays available if the nanny was interested but not expected.
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a lovely nanny to join their family on a permanent basis. This professional and relaxed family live in a rural location near Marlborough.
Both parents work long hours and have separate office spaces within the home when they are hybrid working. They would love someone who is warm, bubbly and nurturing towards their girls. It is important the nanny feels confident working in a sole charge role and is organised and capable to help family life run smoothly.
They would like someone who would be willing to help them on a part time basis during term time with the option to increase to full time hours during the school holidays. They appreciate this is a unique role and where possible can be flexible to accommodate the right candidate.

Job Experience
- Child care experience of two years minimum is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of similar aged children
- DBS Enhanced checked on the update service or be willing to obtain
- 12 hour Paediatric first aid training or be willing to obtain
- Full clean driving license
- Excellent checkable references from recent employment – Minimum two referees
