Job Title: Permanent Nanny or Nanny/Housekeeper
Location: Near Marlborough, Wiltshire
Start date: ASAP if possible but want to find the right candidate
Children: Girls aged 8 & 5 years
Live in or out: There is the option to Live in if required. There is a large double bedroom with ensuite available.
Days/hours
(There is flexibility with the below so please do get in touch to discuss further)
Term time:
Monday to Friday 1pm – 6:30pm – if willing to assist with light housekeeping duties
Monday to Friday 3pm – 6:30pm approx – If happy to just assist with just childcare duties
School holidays: up to 47.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (9am – 6/6:30pm) approx
Please note: Due to parents work schedules occasionally they might need some additional support to assist with a morning school run or be able to stay a bit later. Advance notice would be given.
Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience or if live in or out. Based on the hours fluctuating the nanny will be paid pro rata
Duties
Nanny duties: Assist with school pickups, help with extracurricular activities. Prepare supper and help the children with their evening routine. Keep all child related areas including their laundry clean and tidy.
Housekeeping duties: Assisting with keeping the house clean and tidy, help with family laundry and family cooking.
School holidays: Organise fun and stimulating activities for the girls alongside general nanny duties. Options for the girls to attend external clubs to help if needed.
Girls’ interests: The eldest is very sporty, enjoys karate and hockey. She has an interest in music and dance and currently plays the guitar. The youngest enjoys being creative with arts and crafts. She enjoys building Lego sets and constructing Hama beads and puzzles. Both girls also love baking and are keen to assist in the kitchen when encouraged.
Additional information
– Family have a friendly Labrador (no care required)
– Car required and mileage paid but might have the option to have access to family car when available
– Occasional babysitting would be appreciated
– Option to travel during the holidays available if the nanny was interested but not expected.

Our client is looking for a lovely nanny to join their family on a permanent basis. This professional and relaxed family live in a rural location near Marlborough.
Both parents work long hours and have separate office spaces within the home when they are hybrid working. They would love someone who is warm, bubbly and nurturing towards their girls. It is important the nanny feels confident working in a sole charge role and is organised and capable to help family life run smoothly.
They would like someone who would be willing to help them on a part time basis during term time with the option to increase to full time hours during the school holidays. They appreciate this is a unique role and where possible can be flexible to accommodate the right candidate. There is the option to increase the term time hours if the candidate was willing to assist with light housekeeping duties.

Job Experience
– child care experience of two years minimum is preferred
knowledge and experience of similar aged children
– DBS Enhanced check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
– Paediatric First aid – or willing to obtain
– Clean driving license
– Excellent checkable references from recent employment
