Children: Boys aged 2 and 5 years
Days/hours: Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 8am – 6:30/7pm
Please note: Extra hours could be offered for babysitting on an adhoc basis

Job Description: Our client is looking to find a nanny who can help them on a part time basis. They would like someone who is fun, caring with a bubbly approach to looking after children. Both parents work away from the home so the role will be sole charge. The eldest attends a nearby school full time so the nanny will predominately be looking after the youngest during term time then in the school holidays full care will be required for both boys.
The youngest does attend nursery on a Wednesday and Thursday but this should not impact the nannies hours. The boys currently attend swimming classes on a Tuesday afternoon which the parents are keen for the nanny to continue ( The nanny is not required to enter the pool).
Both boys love being outdoors and enjoy being active so its important the nanny can ensure they can promote this and organise fun and stimulating activities. The eldest has just starting exploring lego and is enjoying building the sets and reading the instructions. The youngest currently loves painting and anything ‘crafty’. During the school holidays the parents are keen for the boys to explore the local area and attend any events or activities that are going on.
The family do have two dogs, however one goes to work with the Dad and the other does have a dog walker who attends daily during the week unless the nanny loves dogs and wanted to carry out some of the dog walking required. There would be the requirement of the nanny being able to proxy parent potentially once per month when the parents work commitments collide and they both need to be away however this would be discussed and notice given.
This is a lovely part time position in a great location.
Job requirement
- Minimum of two years employed nanny experience preferably with similar aged children.
- Must be willing to attend a registration interview either in person or via online (to be discussed individually) to ensure all documents can be checked.
- DBS Enhanced – on the update system or willing to update
- 12 hours Paediatric first aid training – valid or willing to update
- Full valid driving license (driving record will be checked)
- Valid Passport
- Excellent checkable references from recent & current employment (minimum 2) who can be contacted immediately.
