Job Title: Permanent Housekeeper/Nanny
Location: Village near Tetbury, Wiltshire
Start date: ASAP start if possible
Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience
Days: 5 days per week Monday to Friday would be their preference but would consider 4 days if preferred.
Hours: 12pm – 6pm approx
Children: Girl aged 5 & Boy aged 4 ( both attend nursery/school)
Duties
Housekeeping
- Full clean of the family home
- Family laundry
- Light cooking – predominantly just for the children
- Keeping areas tidy and organised
Childcare
- Term time – collecting the children from school/nursery if the mother is unable to
- Support with any homework
- Prepare childrens supper
Please note: During the school holidays there may need to be more of a focus on the children on occasion but additional support for the housekeeping duties will be provided to allow for this.
Additional information
- Must have access to own vehicle but work mileage will be paid
- Family do have one dog, cat and ponies/horses.
- Can offer ad hoc extra hours such as babysitting or additional hours if needed
Job requirements
- Experience of childcare and housekeeping essential
- Ability to provide a high standard of cleaning required
- Confident at cooking
- Must be willing to attend a registration interview either in person or via online (to be discussed individually) to ensure all documents can be checked.
- DBS Enhanced – on the update system or willing to update
- Paediatric first aid training – valid or willing to update
- Full valid driving license (driving record will be checked)
- Valid Passport
- Excellent checkable references from recent & current employment (minimum 2) who can be contacted immediately.
