Description provided by the client:
We’re looking for someone to join us for approximately 3–4 days a week from mid-October through to January. We can be fairly flexible with days and hours and would be happy to discuss different arrangements.
We’re particularly looking for someone experienced with young children who is warm, reliable, proactive and genuinely enjoys being around children. As we prepare for the transition from two to three children, we’d ideally like someone who can become a genuine extra pair of hands within the family — taking ownership of the older children during the day and helping with some of the practicalities of family life, rather than purely providing childcare.
The role could include looking after the older children, taking them out to play or organising activities, preparing and helping with their snacks and meals, tidying up afterwards, and keeping their clothes, belongings and general routines organised.
We’re hoping to find someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our family during this period, and we’re very open to discussing what might work best in terms of days and hours.
Candidate requirements ( or be willing to obtain)
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a nanny
- Must be DBS Enhanced checked ( on the update service)
- 12 hour Paediatric first aid trained
- Excellent checkable references from recent/current employment
